The box super starview 3

Hi there,

Im new and have just got a starview 3 super box but when i plug it in its says no signal. Now this was a friends who is currently receiving all the benefits of this box but he is in a cable area. Is this because i live in Hull and its not a cable area?

And is there anyway to get the box to work

what are you plugging into the box?have you a cable or bb subscription?

Thanks for the reply. I have tried pluging in the normal coaxle cable that leads to the digital aerial on the roof but also tried using the plug from a sky dish into the box?

i dont have cable as its not available in the area but i do have broadband but this has nothting to do with the TV.

Not sure if this helps but i REALLY HOPE i can get this box working?

sorry it won't work unless you have a cable subscription or subscribe to vurgin b/b,definately won't work off sly.

Studlee69, No you will not get the Starview to work in the UK if you are not in a cabled area. And yes that is exactly why your friends getting all the benefits of the box because he has cable going into his property, Sorry.
