The Box Super - STARVIEW

I have the above bos and when I got to System Information I get:

API ver: 6.01e_E
Boot ver: 8.0
7.Mar.2008

The main problem is that the box keeps rebooting on certain channels.... UK Living is one.... Is there any way to resolve this... upgrade firmware??

Also, the film/Pay Per View Sports/ an 'ahem' p0rn channels... where are they? Is there any way to sort all channels or to download a ready made channel list?

I've used the search function but there is just so much info...

I have only just registered with afterdark today and this is my first post so excuse me if I slightly retarted with this responce


Im having the same problems with "scrambled bad channels" and only this week its happened with channel 4, sky 1,2 sky sports 3, and + many more. I concerned that this will keep happening until theres none left!!

Now I have dowloaded the GTRom_Super_8.00e.zip file as stated but from here I havnt a clue what to do. Can you pls expand on what to do next??

it is channel movement that causes u to lose channels,factory reset oooo to delete,automatic scan ur provider and emu to on,so u dont have to flash it to get it to work again.

hi i have the box super 3 it went haywire the other day and 0 appeared on the display and a blank blue screen i had difficulty re flashing but managed to do it in the end with version 8 but when i try to retune it after it reaches a 100% it kicks out and starts back at the begining of choose language and installation etc etc any ideas folks??

Make sure your incoming cable is in the "Cable Input" socket at the back of the Starvi*w.

Then continue with > English
Installation
Choose Provider etc
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Press Menu then 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

Could anybody help me please I have just put in a new starv@ew 3 I can only seem to get irish stations on it im n@l dublin, i have tried codes 2004 and 1570 in the menu to see if the emu is on but these codes have'nt worked

 

Hi thanks for the reply i can get all that but when it reaches 100% it kicks out brings you back to the english option any other ideas?

If the SV3 Box Super is new then you will not be able to get access to the Cas System Menu, they are supplied as FTA receivers (No Firmware Installed) - go to Menu and down to System Information and check what it say's.

GTRom_Super_7.09 This one hopefully addresses the problems with 800e

All the above firmware you will find in Eamo's FTA Library at the bottom of my post, click into The Box Super 3rd from bottom and then into All In One Loader folder. When you have put any one of the above on you will be able to enter Cas System.

noel did you get this sorted as i having the same problem and i feel like thorwing the box at the wall erm i have tried all frimware as soon as i plug all back in set it up it goes off sometimes it might stay on for 10mins then it will go back off anyone can help please

Still waiting for update for Starview 2. Don't think a new firmware has been released yet.

 

hi there im in limerick ireland and my friends starview lost its channels last week so i put the lastest firmware on it from eamos library but when i try scan the channels it says failed in the 13 tps was wondering does anyone no what im doing wrong its my 1st time flashing a super box have only ever done eurovoxs thank in advance
