    im sure you can
you would just have to record them in the same format the box does..
so save a small file to usb then put it on pc and check codec and record ur file to same codec rename same it will work..
and i allready use the media player to play my mp3 music this works wqell

    mpeg 2?
What is it exactly u have to do after downloaing the film.
do u have to convert the files?
If so what program do u use to do this.
    Thx in advance.

i used a program called super
    its free google it

    what i did ..

record a few seconds on usb stick from starview
    dropped the file in super..
this shows exact codec and bitrate
the bitrate and resolutions are important so get them exact

save those settings then drop in the file u want to convert
after conversion put file onto isb stick and starview plays fine
