You need a USB stick to flash the b0x.
Have a look in eamos,In the "B0x super usb" folder under my sig for the firmware V 1.05
There is also a guide to flashing the super usb in there.

Sorry gerry, i had to head out earlier. If you buy an 8MB stick, come back on here & we`ll help you flash the b0x :)
You can also record the odd movie, match etc on the 8MB.

    Hi again
I e-mailed the company where I bought the box and and told them they left me short the memory stick.
Do I have to use the box memory stick, or will any memory stick do.
Have I to download the firmware of the net.or is the box memory stick preloaded with the firmware.

Any 1mb stick will do for the firmware. But for recording an 8MB will do the trick.
The firmware is in eamos library under my sig, its the v 1.05 in the "b0x super usb" folder.

    Gerry,
To load the file, just drag it onto the memory stick & then put the stick into the USB port on the back of the b0x.
Press the menu button on the remote & you`ll see USB at the bottom of the screen. Highlight USB with the remote & you`ll see[B0x Super USB Bin File] appear on the screen.
Highlight this with the remote & press OK.
The file will now start to load onto the b0x.

When you`ve done this Gerry, come back & i`ll show you how to set up the b0x for viewing.

You should be able to record via the epg.
    Press epg on remote.
On the epg, highlight the programme you want to record, then press the red button.
The epg will show a b0x around the selected programme you want to record. You can skip through the epg to choose what to record.

Gerry, you need an external HDD if you want to record hours & hours of TV. The 8MB stick will let you record A few movies, matches etc.
You can delete what you want & then record again.
The firmware is Beta, so theres no timer facility for recording purposes. As far as i know this is being worked on.
So the 8MB will do you if you dont want to splash out on the HDD.
