Hi, Just bought Starview 4 the box super USB and not finding any channels when scanning. I currently have NTL from an aerial on roof NOT from cable. Just wondering does this type of box work with this type of connection? In Galway area. Any advice much appreciated!
Yes The Box USB will work on MMDS in Galway. If your N*L box is still working just switch over the cable. If the N*L box is really big and old you might need to buy a power supply or just T the cable and plug it into both boxes. If you search the forum for MMDS you will find a lot of info on this.
Thanks! got it up and running, scanned about 100 channels some missing. Only problem now is no sound on any channels! Tried rescanning manually at lowest frequency as suggested in other thread but no luck. Scart not loose or anything, any other suggestions to what might b causing it?
This may not be the problem but there is a volume control on The Box remote. It's the left and right buttons in the centre of it.
