the box super

Hello i have a box super but cannot get up the secret menu, i understand that the box needs to be flashed and would be grateful if some one could tell me what flashed means and how to do it. i would be very grateful thank you very much

Hi ive read all the stickies downoaded gtrom version 4 and tried to flash the box super and it will not work stays on 0% and does nothing . I have the null modem cable and the usb adapter and loaded the software it finds the box on com port 3 baud rate is set at 1152 put in destination of bin and it does nothing!! i know im a newbie but hey ive followed the instructions to tle letter what am i doing wrong? i cannot get up the secret menu and im losing my mind trying to get this box up and running, if anyone can help im in ireland and need to get the box set up for ch--us id be very grateful

Kevin, for starters the GTRom 4 is the wrong download requiered... will you press menu ...System info... and tell us what it says!!

 

You dont need the GTRom v.400 for the SV3.
Go to "the b0x super" folder in eamos & download the 7.09 Beta. Its a unified folder so no need for the GTRom.

right so.. if you click the link below my sig you will get to eamos library, on the left hand side scroll down to the super box 3,Click on that, this bring you into Firmware...click on that... you are looking for GTRom_Super_709eBETA.exe, download that and flash your box with this... how to is in the other link below my sig!!!

OK I got GTRom_Super_709eBETA.exe and installed it turned on the box put it on standby so it shows the time opened gt rom comport 3 clicked on bin and clicked on 4.50 firmw@re for THE B0X IRELAND found in "THE B0X" firmw@re folder. Clicked on download and nothing is happening it just stays on 0%
Any ideas why or how to fix it.

 

kevin, the loader 7.09 is the firmware, I would advise you to turn the box off and reflash with just 7.09, you dont need to load anything to this, you will brick the box if you put the wrong fimware on it

turned the box off. I tried to flash with 7.09 and nothing happening. It just stays on 0%. Can you suggest anything else.

 

turn the box off, start 7.09 loader, wait about 5 secs then flick the switch at the back of the box, it should kick in, may take a few attempts but it should work

 

Des I am reading what is being written im using GTRom_Super_709eBETA.exe i now understand that it is the firmware and turned off the box and trie flashing with 7.09 but the fricken thing just sits on 0% and does nothing

 

Made sure App file only is selected, please tell me what this bit means then click b1n File & browse to the firmw@re where you downloaded it to on your PC. sorry for being totally thick guys

 

You don't click bin file - you don't browse - you just press DOWNLOAD, Des Noely and MICHAH have told you - go here and have a good read >>>>>>>>>
