Hi I am new to this forum so i say hie to everybody first. I recently purchased a "The box Super", and flashed it with firmware 7.05. The download was completed well, the i connected the box to the TV. I chose NTL as my provider in Peterborough UK as advice through mt research. On doing the channels auto scan i am only getting 28 failed channels. I try to use the Menu 1570 to turn on the EMU but i cant get in, nothing happens. I have checked my system info and is as follows: The Box Super API ver:7.05e_E Boot ver:8.0 Can anyone help me with advice please. Thank you
menu1570 should work if not might be a bad flash,do a factory reset 0000 to delete and reflash,do not remove cable till box reboots and then scan ur provider and emu to on. overlooked the obvious u need updated firmware v7.09 irl or v.8.00uk as box u have is freeview only no access to emu.lol
HI I have now flashed the box with GTrom 8.00e but still cannot get any channels. my system info is now: API ver: 8.00_E Boot ver: 8.0 20 Jun 2008 Do i need anymore firmware? the articles i read were suggesting that the SV3 firmwares are now combined. What am i missing? I am in Peterborough, England. What sort of artena do i need cause i am not getting any channels?
