the box super

can anyone help. i have the box super api ver : 6.00-E,boot ver : 8.0, 4 feb 2008 and was working fine until now. i am only recieving a couple of channells now. the system goes through the update process, reaches 240% and starts over. program titles appear but no picture. i have turned emu on and set default key. is there anything else i could do. Would appreciate it greatly if u could help

 

You need to update your software.

can u tell me if one needs to keep a contract with ones provider for the box super to work. By cancelling the contract completly they obviously cut the signal and it wont work???? if u have two boxes can u cancel one of them and still use both of the box super?

 

no, never before. strange. dont know much about how these things operate

 

Once you have the signal coming into the house you should be ok, so usually people subscribe to the most basic package and then let the box do the rest.

 

so u reckon i can seize payment for the extra box and still have two supers workin in the house. do you know how they cut the signal. is it from a point outside house or at the box itself
