You aren't making it very clear what box you have there, or what software you have loaded onto it.

Have you tried a factory reset and reflash?

Could be a capacitor problem on the PSU, haven't changed one on a SV2 yet though. Bring it to your local TV repair shop and they will see any faults.

Although I have seen your problem before and a reflash worked.

As said it could be a cap fault. But try the boot flash method here

Try a reflash with an earlier firmware revision, after that as said it could be a hardware fault.

Try a pre 4.52 firmware first ;) Do a factory reset after falsh and turn key emu back on and scan again. Hopefully its not a hardware issue.

Welwyn, if its working for you just now leave it alone!!!
No need to go back downloading the 4.54
and yes it should update automatically!!

Guys I have 2 box supers with the same problem. I've tried re-flashing (including boot flash method) with every f/w version but still no joy. I'm now presuming that the problem is hardware related.
Sc0user you referred to a capacitor issue. I have seen this referred to briefly before in other threads but I have been unable to find any good info on this problem.
If anyone knows where there is any good info on this issue could they please post a link. Cheers.
