the box uk fix and loader

sorry to start a new thread guys but im confused here,ive just downloaded the box uk fix and loader for my starvew 2 and the gtrom loader,are these the only files i need to flash the box????

 

That is correct, you will have to load the BIN file into the loader, when you are connected to your PC correctly, for a guide go to the Starview link 2nd line at bottom.

Just flashed a per your instructions (sure you had to load the logo file last time), anyway works a treat.

Glad you got yours working Murz, waiting for a cable to arrive to do mine, have the keys auto rolled on your box, just wanna make sure it's definitely working fine!

 

Yeah it works fine.
Came in from work and the K**s had been rolled again, every channel doing the updating thing then back to zero, 1 minute reflash with fix and sorted.

Wish i had known you had no cable, have a couple of spare, would have posted you one. Anyway mate, good luck when it comes tomorrow i'm sure everything will be fine, and if not there's some magic people on here who will help you out.

murz, how many times did you flash? done loads ere and still no joy.
loaded bin into it but it keeps staying at on !! aarrrgggg

 

No problem mate, cable was only a couple of quid off ebay, but thanks anyway, yeah i'm hoping i won't have any problems flashing it (for the first time) and yeah the help on here is unbelievable

 

whats the logo file? any chance thats what im doin wrong and thats the reason its stayin at "On"?

 

you guys are the best, just loaded the new firmware to my SV2 The Box, works great.

So Murz did you you 4.54 on your box before flashing the fix? I have got it from people that know this firmware that this may be why it works for some and not for others.

Just thought about that just now mate, yes i had 4.54 on i wonder if thats where the problems are coming from, maybe folk have to flash 4.54 then put the fix on. What do you think.
Feedback is most welcome after what this site has done for us.

 

picture quality has improved on my box now, along with the epg info with the new firmware, honest, its like hd quality lol, honest

what more can i say...great job.
