HI All, I got my box just under a year ago. Its system info is below. Recently some of the channels have a bad reception, then will freeze with a message on the screen saying scrambled or bad channel. It usually comes back after a few seconds, when viewing its system info i found the following: The Box API ver: 4.50e_E Boot ver: 7.0 5.July.2007 Can anyone tell me if this is up to date and if not maybe advise on updating it, i have serial ports on the laptop with cables so really i just need the firmware. Am using the n*l, dublin central area with these 00-88 C1 70 A9 59 17 11 FF 01-08 B4 97 5B E2 D9 41 0B dont have much experience with these but am technically capable. any help greatly appreciated, thanks.
your firmware is correct and your codes are up to date its probably a cable problem in your area,also check all your connections are secure ie coaxal into cable input, scart to tv on box and if you have the feed split try it without the splitter.
