can anyone in galway help me with this box it went back to factory settings and no matter what i do i cant get chanels back iv got ntl in the house i think iv got to get it re-programed or something can anyone help im about two weeks trying to sort this out now i will be geratfull if anyone can help me in this matter
menu > factory setting pin 0000 ok to delete TURN THE B0X OFF AT THE BACK FOR A MINUTE, THEN TURN BACK ON English > installation choose provider autoscan press OK channels found Exit press Menu > 1570 turn EMU on Set Default Key Exit to S*y sports & let it update.
ta for your help but iv tryed all that and cant get anything when i go to automatic scan it scans but no programs found it says failedand i get no programs do i have to get it re programed

Ok have you got digital available in your area ? Also had you got this b0x working before you played around with it ? It has the proper firmware installed so its nothing to do with that , What does it say on your TV screen and the screen on the front of the b0x ?
hi celtic71 when i turn on the tv and the box the box comes up on the screen then languagechoice comes up sellect english ok installation comes up iselect ntl then automatic scann thenchannel scan comes up down at bottom of screen dvb-c{0/24}and it starts to scan for channels it comes upfailed after every channel scaned at the end it comes up 0 programes found i press exit it goes back to cable net work ntlpress exit goes back to language and it wont leave the screenno matter what u press on remote ststem information is the box api ver 4.50e-E boot ver; 7.0 5 july 2007. iv had the box since end november and worked fine till 18th april iv got digital basic pack now when i got the box i cancled all other packs i had from ntl i hope this helps you what part country u in thanks a million kieran
Try this method Press OK to select English Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on English > Installation Choose Provider etc Automatic Scan ( You might be missing transponders , it will fail on some put let it run through till the end) Press OK Channels found Exit Press Menu then 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit I seen this problem before and had to do it 10 times before it picked them all up
There is no emu key button,to get to the emu you will need to press the 'Menu' button then enter 1570 this will now bring up another menu,look down the bottom of this menu and you will see 'Key EMU' go down to it and press 'OK' to turn it on if it's off.
