actually they do work in spain depends which part your gone to my advise is just bring it and try and then you'll know 4sure ps hav a good one!
can you verify where in spain they work?also if by chance it did work you will only get what the local cable co provide,so you would be left with mostly spanish stations.(if it did work)
yes the other tread which i looked at has some info on a certain cable co that has been cracked in spain and my recent trip to the costa dela sol i got a few english stations incl s** news cnn amoung them etc on the tv the hotel provides so im compiling the bits of info i have and reachd a conclusion that they could also very well may work abroad in spain... karl is it true they dont work in spain maybe they dont allow you to recive every english station youll get at home but then again we shall all live in hope
O yes karl and another thing that has lead me to my conclusion is that the pubs and bars that i frequented while over there playd many soccer matches broadcasted by s** sports. i hope you can get it working paul gl anyway

that all, comes in via sly which hasn't been cracked,most hotels abroad show cnn and sly news which dosn,t mean you can get a box to work off the signal.
The only way you will get a starview to work in Spain is to get a piece of coax aprox 1500 miles long, plug it into your front room at home...LOL... it wont work,its a different system, certainly no english speaking channels
