    Menu > 1570
    Turn key emu on
Go to set default key > press ok
Exit to s*y sports & let it update.

2 mins max if updating,if not change to another ch it should say updating 0% 20%,or power off box/then on.
if these channels are gone for a while u might have to do a factory reset and autoscan again and emu to on.

Right... I've followed all the instructions to the letter and I still can't update my Starview box... HELP! What am I doing wrong??? I bought a serial card, a null modem cable as specifically told to use and I still can't update the damn thing. I'm about ready to bin the thing.
Can anyone do this update for me?? I've spent a small fortune on cables and cards and still no joy....

Close everything down on your PC besides the Firmware & loader if you extracted it with Winrar make sure that is closed also., then try again, if that doesnt work you need to tell us are you using XP or Vista, Are you using just a null modem cable or a Null modem cable AND a USB adaptor, Have you installed the driver for the USB adaptor.

Assigned the only free port (com2) to the serial card, closed all apps, ran the GTRom loader, selected the bin file... Flash fail message appears... grrrrr!! I'm tearing my fcking hair out...

Running XP, null modem cable (bought specifically to do this job... the USB to 9 pin serial cable won't work the experts cry...)
