That's because you're still using popstation. Use the new one in the guide.

one last question, the game title is the folder name with my saved data of ffvii right? So I put the exact name of that folder for Game Title and make a new one for game id? And can that id be anything I want such as just ffvii?

It doesn't matter what the name of the folder is.

I think I still did something wrong cause it won't load. It's because my saved game of ffvii was made on a different ffvii eboot. Maybe you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I opened the eboot of fvii with the game id changer you gave me. The savedata folder of fvii is SCUS94476 so what I did was put that in as the Game Title and Game ID to keep it simple. But maybe you can't do that.

Something is still wrong. It successfully patches the eboot but it still won't run because the savedata. I put the gameID to SCUS94476 and the game title as FFVII.

Used PSX2PSP, Clean PopStation and Prometeus (Mac utility). None of the EBOOT.PBP worked. I will probably give up playing anything until I get a new memory stick, capable of holding a full CD. What are you guys using to rip the CD? I'm using ISOBuster, but are there other (free) alternatives?

    *Need help*

Okay I made a ISO with Nero Burning ROM. I used the psx2psp to convert the ISO to EBOOT.PBP and KEYS, and then copied them to GAME. Picture:

Problem: When I go to the psp and run that game it says Hot shot golf or whatever that is (supposed to say that right?) and I start it and the screen just goes black basically, and then I just quit out of it and now I'm here :(

    /don't know much about this.

Are you sure that it's a compatible ISO? I don't know if Resident Evil is compatible.

From what I can see, CloneCD (at least the version available on the company's website) can only rip CD images in its own proprietary format. Do you convert that in ISO aftewards (and if yes, how?) or can one of the files generated be used as-is in PSX2PSP or PopStation?

I actually used the Alcohol 120% free trial and it worked like a charm :p

Please if you have a problem with an ISO, there is a link to the compatibility list on the first post

amktor456, make sure you're definately running 3.02 OE-B. I thought I'd upgraded mine, but it either didn't take or I imagined it as when I checked my system information, it was OE-A. I re-applied the patch and I got rid of my nasty 80000004 message. FFVII now functional for me... I hope this helps you. :)

EDIT: When I rebooted my psp, it would no longer play and give the 80000004 error again. When I deleted the save file for it, it worked again. Anyone fancy figuring this out?
