    Hi,

    Any help would be great.

I am having problems downloading files from the internet. When I try to download them I get a internet explorer message: The connection with the server has been reset. I have tried to download files from many different sites and I get the same thing. It downloads about 8mb's and then it happens. I even tried to download the files through download accelerator plus and it still kept disconnecting me.

I can plug my dsl internet connection into a different computer and download the files just fine without any errors or connection reset message.

    Thanks for any help.

    Check your settings under:

    Tools
    Internet Options
    Connections
    Settings
    Advanced

See if the boxes about "Disconnect" are checked. If so, uncheck them. Should help.

I checked this and I am using a dsl connection, meaning that I dont have any settings to click on after I get to the connections menu. I think this is ment for dial up.

    Thanks Though.

    Any other ideas.
