i tried all nero7 versions but this time i'm really tired i've just downloaded the latest version from nero site and it's the same problem nero express doesn't want to add files for burning when i push add files it stops from working and says not responding furthermore i dreamed of creating movies with nero vision i tried3 & 4 and transcoding them to dvd format so i can play them in my dvd player because i hate to watch movies at pc i followed different guides when i finish the work i tested in my pc and it works fine but when i put it in my dvd player nothing will never work(it keeps loading or says please check the disk) i lost a lot of time trying to make them work in dvd player but thanks to nero trial version i didn't wast money too i always buy commercial movies and it always work those nero softwares are good only for pc they will never do it for home player.
your problem may not be Nero but compatibility of your burned disk and your player! Here are some tips and I would try these out and see if you have better luck! there are plenty of reasons why certain dvds won't play in other players: 1. burning speeds: burn at 4x so there will be less writing errors (rule of thumb is to burn at half the rated speed of the disk--8X disk burn at 4x). 2. read manual for your stand alone player and use the disks that will play in your player. If your player is less than 2 yrs old then it should play the + or - R disks! I said SHOULD that's why you read the manual. 3. try booktyping your drive to DVd-ROM so it will make your +R disks more compatible to players. Read this: http://k-probe.com/bitsetting-booktype-faq.php 4. make sure that there are no finger prints or scratches on your disk that make it hard for the player to read the disk! 5. use good quality media (rule of thumb....buy the ones that are Made in Japan.) Verbatim is a top notch disk and is the only exception to this rule....some Verbatims are made in Taiwan and they are top notch! 6. and don't burn too close to the outer edge of the disk ..... which will make the disk unreadable! but using good media you will be able to burn close to the edge better than lesser quality media. Just in case I only burn no closer than 4400MB, so if you can set your programs to that, all the better! the biggest problem is using crappy media! I would stress to say that if you use better media you will or should have much better results.... then the booktyping if your drive can be booktyped... this will make a big difference in playing in ALL players! then if you are still having problems with Nero.... we can look at a Nero log and see where you went wrong!
