I have been getting the error listed in the subject when trying to update my flash player in Firefox, thus not able to watch YouTube, and some of my sons favorite websites. Flash player installs fine for Safari, IE, etc, just not in firefox.

The error also comes up when trying to run Azureus, except the numbers are "0x003513f0".

Any idea what is causing this, and what its fixes are?

edit: Azureus opens fine from Safari, so do you think its a firefox issue?...should i reinstall firefox?

Let me ask a few stupid questions first. Is your Firefox uptodate? What version of Adobe Flash Player do you have installed? Trying to install?

Current Firefox is 3.6.8 and AFP is 10.1

I am using these with no problems on YouTube, etc. Go to Tools, Addons, Plugins. It should tell you about the various versions. Try Find Updates and install/reinstall the AFP version 10.1

You can always remove and reinstall Firefox, but be sure to save Favorites, etc. to minimize the reinstall grief.
