Why is this game (GTAIV "The Lost and The Damned")only being released on Xbox360? Will it ever be released on PS3
No it will never be out on PS3. Xbox paid for exclusive rights. Myself I couldnt care less as GTA has now lost its appeal for me. I waited with a clenched butt hole for it to come out and when it did i yjought.... Ive seen this all befor. Im a bit bored of GTA now and think its a step back from San Andreas.
@canuckerz: I'll second that. Which is why I'm still playing GTASA on my PC. M$ paying for this exclusive is about as useful to them as shit on a stick. Spoken to many of my freinds who are XBOX360 owners and have GTAIV and they say they aren't buying it.
According to Microsoft, though, that download's set the record for most downloads in its opening day.
Meh, whatever. (no rudeness intended) I was just going off what pretty much all of my mates have told me.
Yeah, I know. Just sayin' there aren't more people as smart as you and I. Me, I never cared for GTA III, and I cared even less and less as the series went on. GTAIV felt like any other poor transition into HD - a new coat of paint over the same old, same old. I'm kinda glad the expansion didn't come to the PS3. :/
yeah only 360. there is probably a new gta in the works so we going to have to wait for the next chapter. in the mean enjoy the original version.. it is pretty good and if you get tired then maybe try some of the other crazy games that are available.
I agree with basically everything that is said. The game is fun but the only thing really worth doing is killing people/cops, getting in a chase, then doing it over again. You can't do half the stuff you could do in San Andreas, the roads are like ice (if i wanted to play a game that was driving accurate i would play gran turismo), and there is zero gravity. I don't think hitting a curb then barrel rolling like 5 times then landing on the roof of your car while only doing 20mph is exactly fun or realistic; and to think... this game got game of the year from several reviewers. Just plain silly. *to the "professionals" who gave this a 10* HEY, JUST BECAUSE IT'S GTA DOESN'T MEAN IT'S WORTH A 10!!!
dab0ne...nice to meet you. anyways, on topic, Microsoft payed for exclusive DLC, they got it. Sony doesn't want to pay companies for exclusives, Microsoft doesn't have a problem with it. I haven't heard Rockstar say they definitely wouldn't release some form of DLC for the ps3, but I guess it's a wait and see sort of thing. But it won't be the lost and the damned.
