Just thought I'd mention the max size for a mpeg2 for conversion to SVCD is 883mb (this is asuming you have enabled overburning in nero).
    This applies to:
    -Both 90 & 99min CD-R's
-Assumed you have created chapter points using VCDEasy

Nb: VCDEasy adds approx 11MBS to the project.
So in total 883+11MBs = 894MBs which I found to be the max possible inorder to get a playable SVCD in your DVD player.

For overburning on a 80min CD-R the max file size of my mpeg2 had to be no more than 816MB

    Have a nice day:)

    hey Jayz,
I once burnt a 830 MB VCD using Nero and it was fine. Now I'm trying to burn a 838 MB SVCD and it doesn't work. I use 780 MB/90 Minutes CD-R's, any help will be very nice to have,
    thanks

Shoot for 830MB on the more standard 700MB disc although it is possible to approach 848NB but thats just small potatoes. NOw as for playback, some players can handle overburnt SVCDs some cant.
