I have copied about 35 dvds using DVDShrink,1clickdvdcopy,and dvdrb-cce retail. Some with movie only, menus, fullcopy, ya know, depending.I use taiyo yuden 4x dvd-r and some verbatim dvd+r DL. All come out perfect except 2 movies. Blade 3 and the life aquatic.why using the same media and software same everything theese movies are so hard to copy?they either turnout chopy or freeze on my dvd player.when i'm making the copies youll never know that theyr going to be coasters untill you have a coaster in you hands.I just hate wasting dvd dl's I guess why im frustrated, but what is it about some movies that they wont cooperate?

I am not sure what you mean. Are these verbs dual layer or do you mean they are the verbatim data-life media?

What model of burner do you have?

If your ty's are genuine,My first guess would by your dvd player. Try viewing those backups that have issues on your pc-using the drive that burned them, and look for the same issues when you view them. Also try them on other players if you can. The more, then the better.

I've backed up both blade trinity and life aquatic on verbatim data life plus +8x printables and they turned out super. But I just do main-movie only and cut out a bunch of ending credits and all audio streams except for ac3 5.1 english. Blade trinity was a very large movie and the main-movie only was about 30% compression. Life aquatic,it was only compressed 5% for main movie only. Sometimes the higher compressed movies can cause trouble, unless you are using dual layer discs on those verbs.

This sounds more like a normal playback issue and there are many of them through AD.

its a samsung 16x dual layer thing, the media is verbatim dual layer 2.5x but i use all the same stuff all the time.i dont know why blade 3 and now the life aquatic didnt play on the verbatim dual layer using 1clickdvdcopy in dl mode, then i got a choppy copy using dvdrb-cce on a dvd5 TY.like i say all other movies play fine but theese 2 and im sure therll be more in the future wont work with any of the progs i use using the same media and dvd player, most time they will work on my computer but not on my TV,O and ive updated drivers and all that to

Simple run your disks threw something like nero cd quality tests and look at the errors. Make sure your drive has the latest firmware. Try another copy of the movie. I get bad pressed originals all the time. What does the quality of your DL media look like in a cd quality test?
Why wast your money on DL media right now when Shrinking it to fit is much cheaper, I can not see a diffrence when compressing, I guess my tv makes up for it Panasonic HD,DVD hooked up component. It's your choice I just don't get it. You may want to visit manufactor of burner and go with the media they recommend. In my opinion TY's and Verbatums are a good choice but some drives don't like them. The latest firmware may fix your problems.

    Good Luck
