The new Starview 4 USB

Hi Again I got a Starview 4 USB. I put the Firmware 1.2 Beta on it.It works but the picture keeps pixelating.Can you give me the correct firmware for N_L Dublin thank you so much.

That is the latest firmware update that you have on, there is none specifically for Dublin, check your connectiond are all secure and you signal level, both to high or to low will cause pixelation.

just downloaded the new firm ware 1.05 ver and at last ican go to the epg and highlight the program press record and it records it self wonderful stuff

this brings your channels back on after the 28-11-08 switch off



no sound turn off and back on at the main power

this fixes mine!

 

Just a couple of small points i would like to add.

I too am having problems with pixeling on a few channels i.e. sky 1 sky2 etc I live in merseyside area. I have added the fix for the sv super usb but then this was happening before i put it on. I found this odd because i have a cloned sv 1 upstairs and all channels are working fine on that one with no pixeling at all!!

Also i put the fix onto my usb box did the rescan turned emu on said data is being updated and bang everything back up and running, but then i switched to the channel that the wwe and boxing was on last week (tv****) and it said data is being updated in the middle of the screen but still had the picture. But then when i turned back onto sly sports one i lost picture and it just went back to data is being updated.

I checked the co*es and they had changed again. This was with the fix added to the box.

Suggestions people apart from not going onto channells (tv*** etc)

 

Not seen anyone else posting about having the same problem as me for the box super usb so i did a flash again and put the fix onto the box and the same happened. All channels are working fine but When I go to all channels and scroll down to the p*rn and ppv i get data being updated in the middle but still get the program. But as soon as I turn over I lose all channels again and the cod*s change only 1 digit mind!!

possible glitch in the software? I don't know? If anyone is having similar problems let me know.

 

Hi guys first of all thanks for all the updates, but im having a problem with the box super usb, it wont let me download on to my flash from the computer, anyone know what the problem is thanks in advance

 

I have updated to the box now and i dont get a picture do i have to download something else like bg logo please help

 

If you have successfully downloaded the new v8.02 firmware, then you will need to do a Factory re-set and fresh Installation using Automatic Scan after choosing your correct provider, for a guide go to the Link marked Starview at the bottom of my post, 2nd line.

Hi, i have the new starview 4 super usb. I have just downlaoded http://www.4shared.com/get/73790410/64d0...V1105_Beta.html and done an auto update on channels, then the 1570 meno put keys on, but when i got to a $ channel its not doing anything, not even saying data being uploaded. Any help would be really appreciated, my husband is going insane without his daily dose of tv!!

try switching off at rear for a few secs then back on, ensure emu is on,if that fails do factory reset and rescan

 

thanks have tried this but still nothing! Will give it another go later when kids r in bed, its impossible trying to do anything when they r around!! Thanks again

 

Ok now have it working!!! We have a happy house again, god its amazing what no tv can do to certain people! Thanks to every1 on these forums ive just been sat around reading for the last few days and its helped me alot! Thanks

HI. I have flashed with the latest firmware and scanned as normal but my Starview 4 USB box continually freezes and needs to be swiched off to clear. I haven't seen any posts on this problem before and am wondering if anyone has any ideas

 

Hi, I just got a Starview 4 box today. I uploaded the software onto it, but when I switched it back on all I'm getting is a readout of 88 82 an the LCD and nothing is working on the machine. Any ideas please? I haven't a clue and tearing my hair out here! Cheers.
