For what's it's worth I got the Confusion version to work on my 2nd try. My 1st burn was with a fairly cheap Khypermedia 4x DVD-R media at 2x which has worked pretty well so far and I burned with Nero but that one got stuck at the Pandora's Temple sticking point. Then I burned one with a Verbatim 4x with DVD Decrypter and that one played right through it no problems. I'm using Swap Magic 3.3 btw.

    Jizmak,
I tried that and it didn't work. It says there isn't enough space on disc, I tried both my drives one has 30 gigs and other has 45.9 both said out of space after 4,167,500 or so, on the dvd decrypter it says sectors: 4,161,520 Would that be whats stopping it? I tried to look around to see if I could change it, but I couldn't find anything, also when I look at the details of my drives they say File system: FAT32 is this right?

    What am i doing wrong?

Gah nm my last post. What does formating a drive to nfts do? is it going to hurt anything on or in that drive or what I might want to put into that drive later if I switch it?

NTFS, Fat16, Fat32 are all microsoft partitions. NTFS is a file system used in "MS Windows NT" based OS's, so windows 2000 & XP Pro also use that file system, since they are based on NT. However, NT based OS's do not require ntfs & can run with a fat partition. partition before you format ;-)

You have to rename the folder that your gow file(3.47gb one) is in, before you try to build the iso...that should fix your problem...

what speed are your writing the backup at?

    Need help again.

I am at the part in the tutorial where you first use Tmpegenc, says to click new project then click browse for the video source and pick first d2v file, when I click it, it says "can not open, or unsupported"

The first time I downloaded dvd2avi I didn't get the vfp file I searched around and found it, I put it into the tmpeg folder but didn't work either, am I missing something?

I don't know what you mean do you understand that I am using the tutorial from, GOD OF WAR BACKUP TUTORIAL www.BackUpTools.co.uk
©Sonix 2005, when I try to build the ISO with the GodOfWar.iml file added I get that message. I already renamed the
    •PART1.PAK
    •PART2.PAK
    •GODOFWAR.TOC
    Rename GODOFWAR.TOC_NEW to GODOFWAR.TOC
Rename PART1.PAK_NEW to PART1.PAK, if that is what you mean and I renamed the main GOD folder where the iso folder is to be built from. I hope your not confused like I am frustrated not at you but the time I spent and can't get it to build ISO. I followed the whole tutorial and even my GOD folder is 3.47 gig.

    PLEASE HELP, Thank to all

you have rename the folder(the 3.47gb one) that you placed all of those files in....when you first started the tutorial..it told you to make a folder to place all of those files in..i think you said your folder's name was "GOD" just rename the folder your files are in to 'GODOFWAR' ( without the ' ). it will only recognize them if the folder is named exactly that[Qoute FROM JIZMAK]. once you rename it..it will allow you to build the iso...good luck

I did that, changed the name of my GOD folder(3.47gb) to GODOFWAR and it still says-Couldn't find 'GODOFWAR/SYSTEM.CNF'Aborting..', like I said before the system.cnf file is in the Apache file list before I try to build the ISO.

:::scratching head::: hmmm....that file is going to be in your list in apache2...i just don't understand why it's not allowing you to build the iso....i hate to tell you this you may have to redo it all over again...just to make sure you have all the files linked and moved over....that's all i can think of at the moment other than your .iml file being corrupt...when i first got that message, i erased everything and started over...and right before i built the iso...i renamed it....good luck
