Codydog if that had any effect on sony I would be very suprised(to say the least) this rumor was going for years though.
I think it is and has been a ploy though or maybe just wishful thinking by ms fans dunno.Besides MS didn't write that article.

Now ms will never have the $ to purchase sony but maybe nintendo.

Sorry, fell asleep at the comp, it was 3:30 am here. No I didn't see the trailer. But read the news this morning, half a dozen articles contradicting what was said just a couple of days ago. Seems sony will nix the 20 gig hdd and offer the 60 on the base mod. 20 gig, that surely was a joke. 60 is not too funny either.

 

I was just wondering if this applies. Considering yea more info is stored in the same amount of space, but it is only possible because of the smaller wavelength of the laser. So technically because the laser is smaller it would still have to spin faster because its not covering as much surface area on the disk everytime it spins.

I dont know if this applies to blu-ray at all i was just thinking bout your explanation and it didnt make sense to me. If you have any more info pls explain.

 

I find it odd the very person who was so against the mentioning anything but the ps3 in the ps3 forum has now mentioned nintendo, as well as bashing bill gates of Microsoft.

And I thought I couldn't be more dissappointed with this thread...

But does that mean the Xbox 360 is quickly dying, or does it mean that the PSP is doing stellar? In reality, it probably means a bit of both. The Xbox 360 is not doing well (we'll call it a slow death) and the PSP is holding its own admirably.

i have to say that this game is looking great and probably did win the award for press award, but ign gave best console game to bioshock (xbox 360 exclusive) with mass effect another xbox 360 exclusive coming in second place and mrio galaxy coming in thrid with assains creed in 4 place.

best graphics was crysis, for pc, then bioshock and then mass effect.

and best over all games including pc, was bioshock (again, AGAIN, lol) with mass effect in 2nd and spore for pc in third.

oh and best multiplayer was gears of war.

anyways just felt like pointing that out, i was a little supirsed though, as i though gears of war would steal everything, but it looks like bioshock is even better.

 

It went wrong somewhere inbetween you complaining about how no one is staying on topic of the ps3 in the ps3 forum, then jump at the chance to bash Bill Gates. Or it could be the fact they you started a thread where only those who agree with you wholeheartedly may participate, even though you are using a forum that you do not own or sponsor.

I honestly wouldn't have said a damn thing because I already shared my opinion in my initial post in this thread. But then you act like a hypocrite, so I voiced my opinion again.

"Pro ps3" does not mean "anti-bill gates" in any way. You do not know Bill Gates, so I don't really think that you're in any position to judge his character. Furthermore, it is an "opinion", not a "fact". You obviously don't know much about having a well informed opinion, because you're the one who decided to immerse yourself in a thread that is tolerant of only those who agree with you.

The reason I keep replying is because I have a problem with it.
I voiced an opinion that was also shared by oedekerk, so I don't think i'm alone.

yeah it was a good trailer, i like the way it has a lot happening at once. something i feel call of duty did not have so much of.

yeah I loved cod2 on the 360, but I have to agree with that.When cod2 first came out I thought it had a lot going on at once ,but after seeing some of the e3 06 titles I think cod2 will look rather bland compared to some of those.

Wha what? That's big news to me. Where did you hear that from?It'd be awesome because I think it looked so great that it should be on all the consoles.If that's true I bet I know what happened.

Bioshock was never expected to be so successful at e3 and after they were they probably said to themself's "why would we make this exclusive to any console we could make alot more money by porting it as well".I've seen this happen alot, before e3 their exclusive but afterwords their not.I'm not going to hold my breath though.

 

It's called progression. Newer stuff gets better than older stuff...

Did anyone see the controller with rumble?Looks kinda bulky but could be a winner for those complaining about no rumble.



(I really started this thread just wondering what would happen.If it's successful it is and if not it's just not.It's not something I'll lose sleep over.It was my hope that it wouldn't attract arguements ,but many respond to me on various threads thinking they'll "show me" but then we get to bull****ing about games they realize I aint that bad.Some just hate me.It's life.)
