    Hey guys...this isn't really a ps2 question but any help would be appreciated...I just bought The Rundown on DVD and when trying to make a backup it wouldn't work...I did a straight burn using DVDX Copy Platinum...I've made other movies fine but this one didn't want to work...Has anyone else had problems or can you recommend another program to use...Thanx

    What version of DVDXCopy Platinum are you using??

    I'm not totally sure what version I'm using...I'm not at home right now so I can't check...But as far as I know it's very current...Would that cause a problem ?

    The latest version (RF version) is ripper free which means it won't allow you to copy a DVD movie directly, if you have that version that might be why.

    Well I've burnt other movies using this program...So I must not have the latest version...Would DVD Decrypter be a better program to use ?

    Use dvd shrink 3.1+ then use nero.. makes perfect backups everytime..

    i used DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink....
    then i used Nero to burn the DVD.....
    all went well....
    but when i try to play the DVD...
    i get an error that the disc is corrupt....
    i have tried it three times with different
    brands.. on two different burners....
    tried using -Rs and +Rs....
    i get the same error everytime.....

    any ideals....

    using DVDShrink.. i stripped away everthing but the movie.. i took out all the extras and all the menus..
    Nothing but the Movie...
    i burned it last night.. and all went well..
    and it plays really well....
    i just hate that i had to cut out the menu...
    and the extras... interviews and all...

    I too have burned this movie with DVD Shrink. However, you will need to use the Reauthor feature in order to get the best quality possible....and take out the extras. I wish I could keep all the extra features but it's just not possible unless you want to sacrifice the quality of the movie. Using Shrink I was able to compress the movie at 97%!

    how do you get rid of the extras. the only thing that im able to do with the extras is take the audio out. how do you delete the extras im using dvd shring v3.1.7.6 peace and thanks in advance

    When DVD Shrink makes it into Vob and other files take all those files and in nero put it into the VIDEOTS Folder and Audio TS leave it empty. If that doesnt help try http://www.dvdrhelp.com
