Yeah it does, but all disney dvds have the same kind of protection. Why must they waste their time and money?Sony too!!!
didn't even need to shrink this one. ripped with DVDFab took out the widescreen version with Vobblanker and presto, another excellant backup
If your haveing trouble with Shaggy Dog. Run any dvd in the background, decrypt with DVD fab, Then run it through FIX VTS, then take the cleaned copy and use either Clone DVD to burn or Shrink and it should work..
If you use RipIt4Me, you will not need DVDFab Decrypter. The program integrates with the old DVD Decrypter and creates a PSL file and imports it into DVDD and it will rip any of the newer movies. It will then automatically open FixVTS clean the file and then automatically open Shrink. Used in 1click mode you can it is easy. You have the choice of movie only rip or full. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/360110
EviLJosH, Hey you doing two steps too many.Run anydvd in the background while using clone DVD.Clone dvd will copy the entire dvd and when it does, it will spit out the movie and then put in your blank media. If you have a dvd-rom on your computer and a dvd burner, put your movie in your dvd rom and a blank in your burner and it will burn directly to your blank when done reading the movie..Two steps is all you need.
All anyone needs is the latest Fab then Shrink no problems at all full movie took out captions and other languages except english maybe everyone should without anydvd because not everyone has it and everyone knows it will work or be updated soon so take it easy on the new people and help them out. V For Vendetta used Shrink only burn with Decrypter
any+clone copied that shaggy dog movie in 13 1/2 minutes on my comp. burning at 8x. New in house record!!!!!!!
I tried to back this up using DVDFab. It went to the HD fine. I put it on a DL disc with Shrink, but now it just locks up. Do I need to run VOB Blanker also? If so, where? I've never used VOB Blanker- I have it just have not used it.. Thanks! When I say it locks up I mean there is a blank screen and it does nothing from there.
sounds like the DVD structure is messed up because of the encryptions..... yes Voblanker can do the trix to fix it, here's a guide: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/293994http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/293994
i had problems with shaggy dog also. in vob i tried just to remove the fullscreen and keep everything else. i ran it through several times and all it would do was just replay the menu over and over. so just for kicks i removed the widescreen and kept the fullscreen and it worked the first time ,no problems after that. had me scratchin' my head for a bit. rip to HDD with dvdfab- run through VOB- shrink- burn with imgburn.
@AlanK If you have ripped with DVDFab then try using the new version of ImgBurn in the build an iso mode. It will build an iso from the ripped VTS files from DVDFab, no need for Shrink. Then you can burn this iso to your DL with ImgBurn, it will calculate the layer break.
Blanker worked. Got the whole movie on to a DL disc! Rand DVD Fab, opened it in VOBBlanker and just ran process. Shrink/Nero to a DL Disc and worked great!
Dual Layer???? This movie was way too small if you copied the main movie only for a dual layer. It only used 3/4 of a dvd so save those dual layers for movies like king kong.
