Srry if this is already a tipic but im short on time and i cant wait to look so excuse me if this is already an answerd question..

Alright my problem is that i down loaded DVD Shrink so i could get my 700MB+ Movies down to 500MB or less so that i could fit each movie 2 a 120 min disk. But when i down loaded it many problems ocured... 1 i couldnt even get a movie i wanted onto the program because it did not support the file i was trying to add on... and i can not change my movies file type...Also i just really dont know how 2 use Shrink...

Im downloading all my movies threw Vuse and getting them from MiniNova and im not sure if this is the best software to use...If anyone has any better movies to recomend im all ears...

I would be very grateful for any help someone would be willing to give, im getting very stressed over this..

    Thank You...

"DVD" Shrink, is used on DVD files. The files you downloaded from Bittorrents are most likely AVI and DVDShrink won't be able to do anything about it (unless I'm proven wrong). You best try Nero Vision Express, it turns your files into a DVD for you, but takes a long time to convert and burn.

kantong is correct, Shrink will only recognize DVD compliant video files and the ones you're downloading are most likely a different file type (.avi, ,wmv......etc). The files need to be converted into DVD-Video files in order for Shrink to do anything with them. There are free ways to do this, but the applications tend to be slow and not very easy to use (DVDflick may be the exception). My advice to you, if you do this often, spend a little money and get convertxtodvd, the software is very easy to use and works extremely well. Convertxtodvd can also compress the video to fit onto a DVD-5 disk as well as burn the file after the conversion process is complete. The software has many features that you will want to use, check it out here http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/

AD has many good guides here is the one you need to use Nero Vision to convert the file to a DVD compliant file from and AVI

After the conversion you can use shrink to get it down to a single layer DVD disk.
