I went to back up this movie but when I used the encrypter there was 2 movies and I just wanted the Unrated one so I backed up the one that was the longest. One is 1h 25m the other 1h 27m so I backed up the 1h 27m.I also just put the dvd in the player and it only shows one movie so is one a decoy or is one rated and other unrated?

Your disk jacket should tell you what is included on the disk or you can check in the menu on the disk for an unrated version. More than likely the unrated is the longer one of the two, though not always.

The 1h 27m is 5145 mb in size meaning it contains the whole movie; however the 1h 25m is 68mb in size.

Since both of these are contained in one vts they are ILV cells and I have yet to find software that supports these. Some programs will warn you that small skips or glitches will occur because of the interleaving cells.

I'm still not sure if the 68mb contains the unrated or rated material. I did a full disk rip and ran it through fixvts, I'm going to watch it tonight and see if that resolves the glitch problems.

It may be as simple as selecting the longer movie file as long as the 68 mb one isn't the one that contains the unrated material.

(These rated/unrated discs really get to me and I have a feeling that I'm making this more complicated than it has to be. I'll post back later to let you know if my method worked.)

    You can try using VLC.
Choose the unrated version from the menu and look at the length of the movie when it starts playing.

When the movie is opened in vobblanker the main movie is vts 01. pgc 01 is 1h 27m long 5145 mb and pgc 02 is 1h 25m long 68 mb. The only question was as to whether pgc 02 contained the rated or unrated material that is inserted with the interleaving cell process.

The full disc rip that I ran through fixvts played back both the rated and unrated versions. When I blanked pgc 02 only the unrated version would play while the rated version would instantly loop to the special features menu skipping the movie.

If the main movie rip(the 1h 27m one) has playback issues towards the end just run it through fixvts or vobblanker before compressing. In either case the unrated version only offers um... a bit more blood and a few more minutes of Liv Tyler in distress... this movie was a bit of a let down for me, not really all that suspenseful, disturbing, or original but that's just my opinion.

Well sorry for all this fuss.I did not like the movie. To slow and was not worth it.Rambo was more gross then this movie. They really builded this movie up but it was tame to all the other horror movies I have watched.
