Hey I just read this thread and saw that some capcom game works if you press 'x' before the capcom screen. Does anybody know if this will work with resident evil dead aim? I have both JAP and US version and i keep getting the same problem with it freezing after the capcom screen. This thread has shed a lot of light for me, no wonder Soul Calibur 2 wasn't working... I needed a CDLoader! Oh yeah my PS2 is a v5R with a no-solder and magic swap discs.

 

anyone backup ATV Offroad Fury 2? mine didnt work...i believe i have a ver.5 not sure but i know for sure its not a ver.7 thanks

i used alcohol 120% to burn mine and i get the blue boarder like it wants to work and then it just goes black and thats it....i guess ill try with nero or recordnow....how bout Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance? mine just freezes once u c 'Loading' and tha mortal kombat symbol...anyone have luck with this?

wolf616: what type of Resident Evil Dead Aim did you get to work? Is it a DVD-rip? Or is it a straight back-up? And is it PAL, US, or JAP?

Any one else have this problem?

Starski and hutch will load fine with SMD with or without the beta 3 CD loader for Ver 7 without CD loader after each Mission double disk check, with the Beta 3 CD loader for Ver 7 game hangs

 

Twista - dead Aim for ps2 the new one!! burn it with nero 6 ultra

 

Twista - U.S. version for Dead AIM resident evil. straight UP .. using nero

 

I made a ripped version on a CD... that may be the problem... maybe my bin is or cue is messed up... i dunno... i'll just try straight backing it up then, but man... i've already made 2 CD coasters (well not totally, they still boot only freeze on the after the capcom screen).

The CD Loader for V7 is GREAT!

The one stumbling block that had me scratcing my head for a few hours...

For those of us with a flip-top PS2, after loading the CD loader and it instructs you to "change discs" you have to ACTUALLY EJECT THE DISC and insert the Swap Magic DVD 2.0!!

I was popping the lid and swapping out for the Swap Magic disc, which was causing a disc read error.

Finally I can play Soul Calibur 2, Splinter Cell, Silent Hill 3 and...Tomb Raider Angel of Darkness...which, was probably better off as a coaster. ;-Þ

has anyone try The new Simpson game?

 

I've backed up numerous games, have not had one fail untill now. Conflict Desert Storm is the demon. I'm using fliptop on a ver.4 w/smd 2.0. I even tried with cdloader. I get the blue outline but it never loads.
