    Now I firstly beg forgiveness for having ignored the US section of the TV game. Could someone give me a short description of the satellite options in the US and if a Linux based box could be of use in that environment. Have brother in law in Boston who posed the question

    i'm in canada using satellite thru bell pvr box & what it uses i don't know.
