This is not new news. I know many others have had this problem. I've tried everything imaginable, and the only thing I can think is that I need a way for my drive to read my Ritek 16x discs as 8x ones. 8x always worked fine, but I can't seem to find those anymore. Any flashing/software advice? I flashed up to 1.0a DMAs are turned on Using Nero 7 & DVD Shrink Everything else is normal...
Ritek isn't that great media as you would think..... try other media that is 8X.... there are plenty of better 8X DVD+Rs or DVD-Rs around still.....
