My box has been modded with a matrix and 120 gig drive for at least 5 months and today all of a sudden my dolby digital will not work correctly.. you can't hear voice.. like from an announcer in a baseball game.. if you change it to stereo instead of dobly digital it is fine.. i use an optical cable for the signal and tried a new one but it dinnit help.. WTF could have caused that???? I checked and dolby digital is enabled in system setting...
Is it just your xbox or do you have a reciever that gives you surround sound on your tv or other DVD player? If you don't get surround with anything it is probably your reciever or maybe check the connections on your speakers. Hope this helps.
