TheBOX dead

    Hi, THEBOX I have is gone dead... its pluged at the mains, switched on at the back but the front has no display of lights lines or numbers. This happenend suddenly, first on switching it on I got one line and thats it dead. Well I know some power is getting through for the box has heat. Is this a curable problem ?.
    Its THEBOX 2 that I have.

    did you change the fuse in the plug. try flashing it and turn the switch on after you press download. although it sounds like a jtag is needed or an internal problem, possibly a blown cap.

    little tip to try give box a shake anything loose as cable connector comes loose for front panel in transit

    sounds like a cap is blown, try a reocver from a bad flash and see if this works, but I think you may need to replace one of the caps

    What a blown cap lads, I'm studying now how to reflash and this jtab adds more interest indeed.
