If you go to: http://www.4shared.com/account/home.jsp Then open the starview_pvr folder, you will find all the documentation you need to update the pvr
Wrong URL above, however I' guessing you mean the EKO one? already been there and read everything before I asked the question There is no mention of wether any of the firmware available for the PVR is auto updating or not
Check your auto update is turned on...: goto Menu / System Setup / Press ok with Parental Control highlighted then press i then 2007, this should put you in the CAS SYSTEM. (May need to do this a couple of times quite slowly to get into CAS SYSTEM) With Nagravision 2 highlighted Press ok, On the Provider ID Line select your provider by using the left / right arrow buttons on remote then press ok, wait for it to save then press exit. (Your provider needs to be the same as the one you selected in Cable Network Option above. Finally make sure Autoupdate is On (Bottom Item in Cas System.) Got to a scrambled channel and wait a while to clear.
Thanks I knew all that, I have had a starview 1 for a long time now My question which I'm assuming I typed wrong, was DOES the current firmware for the PVR autoroll and autoupdate the same as Cryptstar - V1.4 does for the starview 1 box
Hi The current Starview PVR 4.056 Oct Firmware does Auto Update, don't know about the crypstar, I don't have one. jbvid
