Can anyone tell me if this works in the Kilkenny area? Have a box and when I connect I get a "No signal" message
yeah it should work fine...you sure you have the cables in the right place?i know it sounds silly but its easy done!!make sure all cables are in tight and secure and if you re using any of them cable splitter things then try it without it to get the strongest signal.i have a super in dublin and works fine.
Thanks Vicatron. Followed the instructions given in the manual, and all sorts of other combinations, with no luck. Tested all the cables and scart leads used as well. Any other suggestions out there?
Not sure what you mean by "Is your line switched on"? Can you be more specific. The box is powered up, do I need to power up something else? Regards
He most likely means is it LIVE the cable feed, also you need to find out whether you are Cho*us MMDS - if so then you will not get the box to work, you need Cable digital.
Would appear to be cable digital-Not sure though. The set top box is Sagem ITD60 CH is this a clue to the signal source?
Can't be certain exactly what your cable provision is, is it not possible to ask around neighbors etc. to be certain, but I have found these posts referring to Kilkenny re-scOuser, so have a look because you need to be certain because "No Signal" means precisely that. >>>>>>>>>>>> 4th from bottom. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/4/603768 And here read down 6th from bottom >>>> If it is MMDS then you will need a different box type.
Thanks a million Malci, My Box set top box is Sagem ITD60 CH,therefore it looks like I am on MMDS. Can you tell me the latest model Eurovox STB for the area? And where can I view these?
If you are sure that you know what provision you have i.e. MMDS, and you want a Eurovox, then the EV TX is the one for you, have alook here. >>>>>> http://www.skywonder.co.uk/product.php?productid=1039&cat=0&page=1
