Hi, Purchased a theBox-T for Ch@£us in Ireland but can't pick up any channels. Have an ex Ch@£us wire mesh panel aerial which has a integrated downconverter in the center of the panel. Here's a link to the spec of the downconverter http://www.electrical-equipment.cn/trade/tsi-advanced-integrated-downconverters-22484/ Do i need a separate power source for this aerial. I have one which i purchased on ebay but i'm not sure if i need to use it. Also in the theBox-T there is an option for Anetnna power on/off. What should i select for this option? Any other tips in sorting out my problems. I did the following: 1. plugged box in. 2. connected to aerial. 3. Did a automatic scan. It seemed to scan 12 channels and didn't find anything. Any help/pointers much appreciated as I'm not used to this. thanks in advance. timmy
thanks. I have the power inserter so i will use that. The theBox-T option for antenna power on/off what should this be set to? or does it matter? Do you have the frequencies for C****s MMDS for Limerick/East Clare? Any other pointer greatly appreciated. thanks again timmy
Sorry I dont have the Box T but the powerinsertor provides the power so off I would say. Regards frequencies you dont need them as the box T will find them with an autoscan. Presuming you have flashed it with the latest firmware. Dont forget to turn key emu on, press menu, type 1570 on remote and enable it. Put it on Sly sports and it will update the codes for you.
