Hi Everyone. I am trying to get my Dad the right package for his house. His NTL has been crap for 30 years and they just wont do anything for him. If any of you have any guilt for using a BOX - dont. If you knew they way they treat him, you wouldnt care. Anyway. I am in Dublin. I have one of the BoxV's at home. I would like to know if I got a freeview box can I pick up all the scrambled Sky and other stations and then unscramble them with the BOX. Or do I have to get a Sky satellite and cancel the subscription? Can the freeview Sats pick up any channels? Many THanks Niall
If you update a free to air b0x with the appropiate firmw@re then you will get the digital package from your provider (roughly 138 channels) All you need is the basic package (pipe TV).
