the 1570 does not work on my box is there any other code i can use to get into this menu so i can turn on the emu

 

1668 is the master code. Although you cannot access the emu unless the box is flashed with non FTA firmware. Press menu and system info and post what it says.

ok 1668 does not work ,s.info is saying API VER 4.54E BOOT VER 7.0 22.OCT 2007

 

Bet the logo file wasnt downloaded to it, you need this with 4.54eE. No code will work until it is flashed correctly.

Please drop the caps, it means your box is flashed incorrectly.

Just reflash with 4.54 followed by the logo file. You will find the logo file and firmware at the end of my post in Eamos FTA Library.

You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F your's may look similar but it might not be the correct one.

If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

All firmware/loader can be found in the link at the end of my post marked Eamos FTA Library.

You will need the GTromloader Version 4.03, (Starview Software Uploader), found in the Starview software folder of the link.

You will need version 4.54 and logo file firmware found in "The Box" firmware folder.

And please download the Starview PDF guide,(similar instructions as to "The Box" guide), this will give you step by step instructions on how to do everything.This can be found in the Starview Documentation folder in the link.

Youre welcome any problems just shout. BTW after reflash turn your emu on by pressing menu, type 1570 on RC and turn it on.
