When trying to import into Nero My VIDEO_TS folders are all there there are just no audio files what am I missing here please help or I will turn pink with purple pokodots!
Hi gulcher Your audio folder is supposed to be empty, thats just a compatibility issue with some older dvd players(if I remember right) Whatever the reason, dont sweat it,thats normal, your good to go. jim
Thanx Jim I went straight to burning after dropping in the compilation and there is nothing but TS folders when I go to open the new dvd. Do I need to set up better in the authoring program, idealy I want to do my menues and buttons in Nero. I cannot tell if the audio would play now or not because nothing plays but the audio file still of coarse is empty. thanx again please help I also do not understand why Nero cannot author for me I thuoght that is what Nero express was? edit: Ok Jim my video is there and now playing but there is no audio and I still do not know how to do a nice setup in nero after I create compilatins. Mabe I need to a different authoring program for audio what do you suggest? The audio is there after encoding in premeir it just does not make it through the next step. Live life to the fullest!
On a normal DVD you have: AUDIO_TS folder (that has nothing in it , yes NOTHING) VIDEO_TS folder (that'll contain all needed VOB/BUP/IFO files) ------------------------------------------------------ As to your actual encoding problem , it could be down to if your mpeg in the first place was AC3 audio (?)
OK OK OK third time is the charm I do not have a certain plug in so I could not hear the sound but I am now going to work on the menu thing and I would still like to know what you think about authoring etc... thanx thanx thanx
Hey herbsman I like your graphic. I realize I need the AC3 plug in. Is that the best option or are there better audio component options. The more I learn the more confused I become oh well it's not easy being cheesy.
