    After you burn the disc you have to go back and delete the folder you stored the backup in on your hard drive. Someone should come up with a tool that does this for you.

    Don't be so lazy. DVD Shrink already does enough. Plus, if you tell DVD Shrink to burn with DVD Decrypter, you can tick the "Delete file when done" option in DVD Decrypter. That way, after the burn, it deletes the file for you.

    DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn have that feature, but I rarely use it. Before I delete the files I make sure it was a good burn by playing the new DVD. If it's a bust and you deleted the file, well, you are screwed.

    @hermes_vb

    Not if you actually own the DVD??? I don't delete them in case I want another backup made later on. I usually dump them all after a day or two.

    Well, I use DVD Rebuilder for my backups and it's time consuming. I want to make sure I don't have to leave my laptop overnight again. It's not because I don't own my DVD's.

    I agree with hermes_vb. I use DVD Rebuilder often. The backups do take hours but it's worth it. I usually burn more than 1 copy so if something happens to a copy, I still have the other one and I don't have to do the whole process over again.

    I leave most of my movies on my hard drives for viewing whenever. It saves time compared to going in the storage room and looking for a movie to watch. I've got a 500g/2 300g/250g. So there's alot to choose from.
