I have downloaded Theridges xbox tools. Is there any tutorial that goes with this set of tools in particular? Do I need a game like splinter cell or something?
what exactly are you trying to do mod halo or softmod?? here is a softmod tutorial http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/218495 i really dont like telling people how to mod halo but after you softmod, hit my shoutbox and i will hit you back....
All I want to do is softmod i guess. I come up with a 14 error, or sometimes 21 0r 13, but my hard drive is spinning and all, so I figure my dashboard got corrupt by power outage or something. I downloaded your xbox toolkit from your page, but don't really know where to start. I started following a tutorial on softmodding that involved online games and stuff, but thats really not what i want. I am very computer savy, but a complete novice at xbox modding. I just want to be able to use my xbox again. I have never modded it soft or hard, but I have opened it, so returning it to m$ is out.I just need to know where to start with a soft mod, or dashboard replacement.
well first to softmod you will have to pick one of 3 games i would recommend splintercell and you will also need action replay now just follow the guides for less you already downloaded the files in my pack its in the sid 4.5 folder....
