i was told the tuner was gone on The Box2 that a friend ahs .Does anyone know how to get a new one or can it be repaired?
I was talking to scouser,the trouble is there is power on the box but no channels are found yhey scan but at the end of the scan it comes up no channels found.Sofware & firmware are up to date.So i am puzzeled
Bosco in fairness to sc0user there is very little he doesnt know about the boxes.... and if he tells you the tuner is gone.... its gone! I know nothing in relation to the tuner myself but would take his word for it, and i know if there was a fix for it ... he would have told you about it!
i'd agree with des and scouser, i havent heard of anyone replacing a tuner in one before so i can't answer that for you but im sure someone else can, sorry for your trouble, its a pain!
if scouser says its gone, I would be inclined to listen, but if your box is less than a year old, have you tried your supplier for a replacement? did it come with a years warranty?
