I found a site the has premodded 360's but will only play Xtreme backups. I am not clear on what that means. I thought all softmods are Xtreme. Perhaps I am wrong. So does that mean I can only download games that are Xtreme compatible?
dont buy a premod. If a new update comes out, you wont know what to do... but i guess, if you're real lazy and totally computer illiterate, then premod is the way to go.
Did the site say it would only play back-ups? I've never heard of that. All current mods are based around the firmware hack and that allows you to play backups and retail games. Since the hack is so new I think it's possible MS could come out with something to counter it. If you can't fix it yourself what are you going to do? Then again, it's been around for at least 4 months and nothing yet from MS.
Appreciate the responses. I will hold off on ordering. @Memnock the site said the xbox360 will play backups and originals. The site is Dr Modchip.
I would like to do it myself but WOW is it difficult. Once it gets easier I will take a shot at it but at $400 I am not going to risk it.
