hi.i was thinking of buying an acer aspire 5920g.i have done some searches and have got good and bad reviews.it has a intel core 2 duo processor,4gb ram and a 250gb hdd.its 500 euro brand new.seems ok to me.But the reason i ask is because my lasy laptop was acer and just died after about 6 months and was just wondering if andbody else had one of these.it seems a lot cheaper then other laptops with the same spec.thank you
I don't think their laptops are as bad, but Acer have produced a lot of poor quality products in their time. Acer are also famous for putting spyware on their laptops from new which allow Acer, at any time they choose, to monitor what you're doing via the internet.
