Argh....I have used DVD Shrink for a while to rip and then decrypter to burn, thanks to ScubaPete's tutorial. But for the first time ever I have run into this problem. When I try to use the "Backup" feature within DVD Shrink, I get this following error message. This link will show u the error I am getting.

Would someone be able to tell me what to do? I dont want to make the wrong choice here. Thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely
    Nancie

Regional Coding enhancement(RCE)is found on Warner and Columbia DVDs to stop Region 1 discs playing in region free players...

Not at all! All you have to do is look at the box the DVD came in and find the region code. Once you find it, just select it using that dropdown menu.

As the message says, if you put in the right region code, then Shrink will make the disc region free. If you do nothing, then the copy will only play in the same region that the original plays in. It will not play in a "region-free" player.

    No Nancie - it's burnable.

That's not an error message, it's a confirmation box.

DVD Shrink is asking you to confirm that it is correct in detecting the dvd is Region 1. (I've never had it be wrong yet)

However, if you are in doubtl you can find out by looking on the dvd itself or the packaging.

Odds are very good that you can just click OK and go on.

EDIT: They don't call him FasFrank for nothing!!
