Hi everyone, I just downloaded a movie, when i opened it appears only these words "This movie has been encrypted", the format of the movie is DVDRIP.AVI Can someone helps me on this. thanks
Do I know how? Yes. Allowed on this forum? No. Sorry, you're going to have to earn your pirate eyepatch and pegleg on your own.
Really? I've seen plenty of scam files but I've never seen a non-scam "DVDRIP.AVI" file that wasn't a pirated torrent movie. I'll bow to your experience on this one varnull. But what is "allowed" pertaining to this matter. I've read the forum rules, but where is the line "not to be crossed". I don't want to make any mistakes here.
Posted from Admin Ketola, Case examples regarding rule number five (5). No piracy. Case: Pirated material, such as serial numbers and direct links to pirated, copyrighted material (including direct links to torrent files and ed2k links). PROHIBITED Case: Posting "descrambling codes" or similar codes that allow unlicensed viewing of protected material. PROHIBITED Case: Technical, in depth discussion about copy protection circumvention (i.e. cracking). PROHIBITED Case: Discussion about pirated content and piracy, such as converting (downloaded) video and/or audio files to DVD/AudioCD/whatever format. PERMITTED Case: Discussion about copy protection circumvention in general (extracting encrypted content, such as DVD movies, compact discs, copy protected console and computer software, using existing software). PERMITTED Case: Links to sites offering possibly pirated content (including torrent files and ed2k links). PERMITTED If the file asks you to go to a certain site and download the decoder, don't. It is a scam site, and was mentioned as a news item a while back.

"Rules" and I don't generally get along, but I try anyway. Well, that clears that up for me. Onward!
