THOMSON 4214 - no satelite signal being recieved

    Well I bought a THOMSON 4214 and a sat. But it keep comming up with a message saying no satelite signal being recieved. and at the top 29.

    In the system details it say:

    Manufacturer - Thomson
    Model - 122_047
    Ver - 4E0910
    Serial 0285923111
    viewing Card - 299 900 415
    operating system ver - 1.2s4fj
    epg software ver - 3.7.6

    Could anyone help plz

    when did it work last,and if you bought it new when did you buy it.have you checked all your cables going in to the box to see they have not come loose.did you hook it up yourself.
