Last night as I was trying to fall asleep and had two thoughts that I would like to throw out to the actual "smart" people in this forum to see what your thoughts are on it. First thought. Wouldn't it be possible to connect a usb cable from your computer/laptop to your 360 and have it act as a controller were it would be possible to have it automatically press "b" after 2 minutes and "a" after 5 minutes or something of that sort, and to some that might sound like a pointless yet stupid idea, but to someone like me who is a "achievement whore" it would be nice for games like quake 4 were you are suppose to play 5000 online games that each have a 2 minute wait time before each match even begins which is very very annoying. so wouldn't it be possible to create a program to do this? Second thought. I'm not a big fan of the whole "profile editing" and people just popping achievements for the hell of it. but I was thinking. how can xbox live ban people for popping an achievement? isn't achievements just for show? kinda like your bio? wouldn't it be similar to someone saying they are 25 when in reality they are 60 and still live with their mom? Anyways those are some of the random thoughts I have to deal with on a daily basis. Feel free toadd your 2 cents
I usually think of women while in bed. In fact, I sleep with one every night. You asked the smart people of this forum to respond to you and your best bet would to start thinking of females while in bed. Once you do, those xbox 360 thoughts will vanish.
Well I guess a program can be made to "emulate" an Xbox 360 controller. And by the way, you need to mind your own business. So what I still live with my mom, but I'm not 60, dammit, I'm only 59 and I'm moving out before my birthday.
1. The XIM already emulates the 360 controller. So writting a script to run with it, doing what you're asking, wouldn't be a problem. But it's a waste of time as you can just edit your score in a matter of minutes. 2. MS can ban achievement modders because they can. It's against their rules, so if you do it, they'll ban you.
I can't for the life of me see the point in achievement modding, it doesn't make you look good in fact imho it makes you look like a sad lonely virgin lmfao.

MS knew what they were doing. For some gamers those achievement points are like digital crack. That translates to longer gameplay and more game sales. When looking at the general public, of course. Obviously those who mod their score or play backups don't count. The proof is in the pudding. Sony adopted trophys. They seen how achievements were positive for MS, so they followed along (this isn't meant as a "who's copying who" statement).
And that's funny, because before the PS3 launched, the Sony executives were saying that Xbox achievements were a pointless waste of time.
In theory, they are. Yet in reality look how many gamers are addicted. You can't blame Sony one bit for jumping on the bandwagon.
ms and sony also stated that motion sensing controllers weren't going to be relevant in this generation either. woops. companies always copy good ideas in every market.
Don't forget about 'rumble' controllers being 'last gen' technology, only to ditch the Sixaxis and introduce a new rumble controller
Pointing out stupid statements made by company execs is now fanboi-ism? If anybody is a fanboi, it is a person who takes every perceived sleight against their own console of choice as some sort of fanboi challenge.
