I'm looking for a video card that can serve three purposes. I don't know if something like this exists but if it does, I'm pretty sure someone here will know about it.

    First, multiple monitors, probably four.
Next, I'd like to set up the computer as a PVR.
Finally I'd like to be able to rip some old videocassettes.

The multiple monitor setup is a must but if I can do the others that would be some serious icing on the cake. Is there one card that can handle all of that?

First off, I have never heard of a video card supporting 3 monitors. What you may have to do is get a Dual video card setup such as SLI or Crossfire with the ability to record in.
I think your best bet is to get:
2x PCI-E Video cards (make sure you have 2 PCI-E slots.
    1x TV Tuner card

Probably gonna cost you a good $300

The resolution would be bad with Svideo though.
