OK, heres the issue. Used to live in the USA where I registered and bought my NTSC Xbox. Now its died the three red rings of death! Problem I have is that I now live in Dubai and here it is all PAL. Now do I really go to the hassel of shipping the machine to the USA for repairs or just purchase a new PAL Elite Xbox. Whilst I know my gamer stats will survive as they are on line, question I have is will all my game saves & Arcade downloads? Help needed to make the ship / purchase decision!
I live in Ireland and got my ntsc xbox from hong kong.It died three weeks ago.called to microsoft they take all info from me,ups collected,service man in germany fix it and now I play my xbox again.
That's all harddrive based, so providing you don't "lose" your drive, you'll have everything. Before you spend the money on a replacement, try to save your console. There's several ways to save a unit showing the RROD. Look em up.
